About Garlic, Minced
Garlic (Allium sativum) is a member of the Lily family and is a widely used and commonly known spice. Along with being a wonderful flavoring agent Garlic has been used to ward off evil spirits, improve blood circulation, increase vitality and strengthen eyesight.
Dried Garlic is wonderful to use when cooking because it has all of the flavor of fresh Garlic yet it will not spoil and the smell does not linger on your fingers. Garlic is a key ingredient in cuisines from Italy, Greece, the Middle East, India, Thailand, China and many other locations.
Add to recipes along with other spices. One level teaspoon equals one clove of fresh garlic.
